Blacksad's client is Dunn's daughter, Sonia, who struggles with financial issues plaguing the club since her father's death. Complicating matters further, a highly anticipated boxing match is on the horizon.

To solve the case, Blacksad must navigate through the heart of a corrupt and ruthless underworld that controls the sport of boxing. As he delves deeper into the investigation, he uncovers secrets, confronts moral dilemmas, and navigates a world where loyalty and betrayal intertwine.
